Default overheating

after putting my H/C/I combo on I cant keep the car cool. I have the stock radiator its the smaller 2 row....but its fairly new i thought it would do the job. I pulled out the thermo hoping it was just that sticking, and ran the car w/ it out for a couple days. It helps but it still gets too hot especially if your in traffic or get stuck at a long light. No symptoms of head gasket failure like I had before, oil looks good and no white smoke. I don't kno where to go from here
