Default Spark Plugs,Nitrous ?'s

Alright I have Aluminum GT40 heads and Iam currently running autolite 74's?? I think....anyways, would the 25's be better? or am I good? Also putting a nitrous plate on and gonna spray 100 horse, do I need to get a different plug?And last question is is 100 horse gonna hurt anything? Thanks guys..

I would suggest Autolite 764's which are one step colder for GT40 heads.

See the chart below. You are running 1 step cooler which is fine for a 100 shot. No do not goto a 25 plug, that is for a Stock head, not GT40.

Will 100 shot hurt anything, only 1 way to find out. But its pretty much safe.

**The difference between the 764 plug and the 104/103 plug is the thread. The 764 plug is a half thread whereas the 104/103 plug is a full thread. The full thread plugs are duplicates of the half thread plugs in every other aspect, they both protrude the same amount into the combustion chamber.

you will be fine on a 100shot.


as stated your plug's are fine. pull them and make sure they are gapped .30-.35, run highest octane pump gas you can, drop your timing to 12-14*, and let it rip.

Alright cool, another thing I forgot to ask was I have a Holley Blue pump, will that be enough for what I need?? And thanks for that chart, that helped alot...sorry I couldnt remember what plugs I had...I was close though...
