I've heard of being able to install a push start button on a 5.0 fox. So I was wondering how to install one on my 1987 mustang 5.0? Does any one have a diagram on how to wire this button? Any help will be greatly appreciated!

 

why bother??? the ignition style is fine

if you like making it easy for your car to be stolen...

push button starts belong in new cars (2007+), rice boxes, and racecars

you'll have to cut the starter selonoid feed wires that go into the ignition switch down on the column, one wire will have power on it and the other goes out to the selonoid, the two cut ends run up to your push button....get a wiring diagram and you'll know which wires to cut
