I think i have a possible broken motor mount or trans mount. when i hit the gas and the car jolts i hear a squeeking noise, sounds like its coming from the front of the car (motor area) it sounds like metal to metal and my only guess is its a broken motor mount or tranny mount. anyone have any ideas? know how to tell if one is broken, or what the sound could be?

sounds like you need new ones and the poly motor i would replace them with

yeah..they arnt that difficult to replace..i think thats my best bet. i think thats what is making the noise.

the rubber might have broken down so much it fell apart so i would replace them and IMO the poly's are the best replacements
