Default 94 gt climate controls

How hard is it to replace the climate control assembly in a 95 mustang? Looking at buying a 95, but the temp **** is gone, and so it the post that the **** goes on so there is no way to change the temp. The guy says he has a new control for it, but hasn't put it in. Are the SN cars a big pain to change this on? I didn't think the foxs were all that bad.

you have to remove the radio to get to the bolt that attaches INSIDE the dashboard, then pop the shifter bezel off to get the other 2 screws out, then the entire radio bezel slides out, and you can unbolt the HVAC controls

yes they are, but it sounds like he's saying that the controller behind the face plate isnt there. which probably means the tabs broke, and it fell inside the dash

That's what the seller told me. He said there isn't anything there to turn.
