Default Shifter adjustment?

Ok AOD and carbed. I have the lokar tv cable hooked in and the transmission shifts as it is ment to while in drive and overdrive. My problem comes with maually shifting it. It holds the car in whatever gear it is in besides 2nd. I also cant seem to find second when downshifting and when I work the shifter from 1st to 2nd then drive it's like it goes into second as it is supposed to but switches into drive anyway.

Is there anyway to adjust the stock shifter. I plan to add a quarter stick or something similar in the future but for now is there anything I can do about this. And just for reference the TV cable is adjusted properly. no slack but no tension in nutreal and the transmission is holding 35psi so that is not the problem, it is directly related to the shifter.

Default

you will need a manual or street/strip valvebody to be able to shift from 1st to 2nd instead of 1st to 3rd then back down to find 2nd.
this would be a good one
