Default 98 Explorer U/L intake manifold to 94 GT

Hello fellow 5.0's.

I have a 94GT and I am trying to do a swap on my stock upper and lower intake manifold with a 1998 Ford Explorer 5.0L manifold and to include a bigger T/B (maybe a 70mm) and a bigger MAF than stock.
Did anyone that has done this swap had problems installing it? any pro's and cons? did anyone had to remove the tower brace for the explorers manifold to fit properly on the stang engine bay?

Anyway, thanks for your help and information.

i know that they are almost a direct bolt on for a fox,but the sn95's have the throttle body elbow so i really don't know how that would work, and as for the 70mm tb it would help but really pointless unless the intake is opened up to the same size or bigger of the tb you plan to use and make sure you get the bigger maf if you upgrade the throttle body.

i would go with just a 65mm tb and its just a direct bolt on with the adapter

your tower brace probably wont work. also its a taller then stock intake so you may have clearance issues

Remove it.If you want the intake that bad it would be worth a little more flex.
