hey guys there is so much mixed info out there that i thought i would just ask...if you have a 1990 engine/main harness you need a 1990 dash harness for everything to work correctly right? does it matter if the dash harness is out of a 4cyl or a v8? the reason i ask is because i bought a 1990 engine harness for my 1990 coupe (4cyl to v8 swap) i thought the dash harness was a 1990 but now im not sure. is there anyway to tell for sure? i have the black and grey 8pin connectors but some of the wires dont match up, for example the main harness will have 6 wires while the dash harness has all 8. i hope im saying this clearly...let me know if you guys have any ideas...thank you

I'm not sure but you may need the correct dash harness too??

yeah thats what im trying to figure out for sure before i go spend the time and money to get one ya know?
