Default horn pad

my horn dont work in my 88 i heard that u can put new foam in the pad what kind of foam do u buy

I would think you could use any thin foam like laminate floor foam or something along those lines. What I did was use the little round foam circle you get in cd spindles and put it around the large contact in the middle along with the old foam and it works fine. The foam fix applies only if your horn sounds whenever the pad is plugged in otherwise you are looking at another problem.

Kind of hard to remember but i would say the foam is somewhere around 1/8th or so. It only takes a second to pop the rubber off
