altanator questions

how much power does the stock altanator put out, in a 1990 mustang lx 5.0 thanks for the help

50 amps if you're lucky. they suck. You should upgrade to the 3G.

Is it true that the 3g alternators can be found on the sn95's? If so are they a direct replacement with wiring and the bracket or will custom fabrication of the bracket and wiring have to be done?
