does anyone know where i can find what model of transmission that is in my car and where i can get a first gear for it? my transmission keeps slipping out of first gear into neutral when i put a load on it. it sounds like the teeth on the first gear might be stripped out. I took it to AAMCO and they said that it was gonna cost like 500 just to diagnose what the problem was. so i am going to take it apart and get the gear. I looked all over the web and cannot seem to find where to get the first gear and the slider piece.

i forgot to mention that i have a 1989 5.0L mustang with a manual transmission.
