Adjustable Clutch Cable HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

RE: Adjustable Clutch Cable HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I went with steeda for mine.
Question: Is your cable riding against your Header/mid-pipe?
Directions say to try to keep it from the heat the best you can.
And as MD said above how far did you have your clutch cable adjusted?
Did you have your clutch so you barely have to touch the pedal?
And Mashed it to the floor a few times?

RE: Adjustable Clutch Cable HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i had it as soon as you touched the pedal but i found a website that told me what i needed to do and i adjusted the cable to much i had it to tight so it rubbed on the inside and messed up the cable so i have it adjusted to engage at the height of the brake pedal and it works great RIGHT NOW

RE: Adjustable Clutch Cable HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
f*ck adjustable clutch cables. My stretched everytime i bought one. Last one i had was a mustangtuning.com cable and i pulled it out and from teh firewall it was all frayed. I put the stock ford one in and it was fine. Havent had a problem since.
