Default 7.5 to 8.8 rear swap

I am basically done swapping the 8.8 from my 89 gt in to my 86 LX. I am having a problem with the upper control arms though. I can't seem to get the control arm to line up with the bushings on the axle housing. My question is are the mounts for the uppers different from 86 to 89, or is it just a question of rotating the axle while I jack it up?

you should just rotate the axle to get it to line up.when i put an 8.8 in mine it just fell into place.
