Default Electrical problems...

Hopefully somebody who was reading up on my previous post will read this.

I was just testing a few various sensors that are involved in deciding ignition timing. I went to check voltage at both the ACT and ECT sensors, and found only 3volts reference to them, and like nothing on the return wire. Both were tested cold, KOEO.

Also, looking at a wiring diagram I noticed that all those similar sensors share the same signal return pin at the EEC. How does the computer separate signals from various sensors when they all share the same signal return pin?

Any input?

Battery was fully charged ( read 12.56 or something like that)

Wow, no ideas?

Are we thinking a computer problem or a corroded wire or something? What would cause me to only be getting 3 volts to these sensors? I should be getting 5v correct?
