Default 331 Stroker - 94 Mustang?

I just put a 331 stroker motor in my 94 mustang and installed some crappy heads and a camshaft. I was wondering what the best camshaft from Ford Racing would be for maximum torque? And also what the best cylinder heads would be for maximum torque? Heads can be any brand. Thanks for the help.

I'm not a big fan of the Ford letter cams. They're OK, but you can do better for the money. A SBF generally does better with a dual pettern cam. I use a Comp Cams XFI cam, and it seems to do really well.

Picking the rights heads is kinda easy. You don't need max flow to make low end torque. So the expensive heads like Brodix are not necessary, and may actually cost you low end power.

AFR has an excellent reputation for making good power. But, they also have a reputation for using cheap components. Unfortunatly, cheap components tend to get real expensive real fast. If you really want AFR, buy them bare and add your own quality components. But then they start to get expensive.

I like Dart Pro-1 heads. Quality product, and quality components. You can run them right out of the box without any fears. And they are relativly inexpensive.

I would not use pro-comp anything. They are cheap off shore copies of american products.

it was a joke...

i forgot to add running a 75mm TB with the stock intake and MAF...

if you dont want any issues, buy a set of Trick Flows, or some Fox Lake ported E-Streets and call it a day.

XFI cams arent bad, personally i like the TFS cams for the price...
