Default Overheating??

I got my car fully Dyno tuned last Saturday and it ran a little hot. I took it for a ride on Sunday and it was overheating so i ordered a Fluidyne radiator with 2 bottles of water wetter and i plan to run a 70 / 30 mix.

I wanted to make sure it just didnt have an air pocket somewhere so i started it tonight.

I started the car and let it run for a solid 30+ minutes. It wont overheat!!! Heat blows SUPER HOT inside so i ruled out having an airpocket somewhere!!!

The hottest the block got was 209 the fans would kick on over like 185- 190* and run until the car cooled back under that then the fans would kick right back on again...

I let it run so long my eyes were burning!! Do i need to drive it to make it overheat?? I dont get it!!! Should I throw in the new Radiator and the 2 bottles of water wetter with a 70 / 30 mix?

What should it be maxing out at for temp? is 209 - 210 way to much??

Thank you for your help,

Rob

let it get up to operating temp then either while at idle or while moving get the rpm's up a bit. The engine isn't doing much if it's just at idle. when you are in traffic, stop and go throughout town you are constantly accelerating and getting rpms up there which = more heat.

See if you can get it to heat up just by revving it a bit while its at idle and let us know what happens!

I believe low speed fan in an sn-95 comes on 203-208 ish?? and high speed is around 225ish?? so if it follows this pattern all should be normal.
