Okay guys I am new to this forum so be nice.....I have always wanted a Ford Mustang covertible, just got one 2 days ago....was driving it home and about two hrs into the trip engine started shaking a little bit but I continued to drive....wanting to make it home....not driving it hard either......it continued to shake and then it got worse and I had to pull over where the car abruptly died.....it continued to make the shaking every time I turned it on and it would turn off.....now it won't start without a boost....please help

meaning you have to jump start it?? if so and once you remove the cables it dies again, most likely the alternator took a dump
