Coolant Boiling, But Only When The Engine Is Off???
Now I know that the coolant system is pressurized so it shouldn't boil, so obviously it's compromised some way some where.
But what gets me is my temp gauge goes up towards the top end of the scale, but it doesn't start to boil until I turn the motor off. Then it boils up and out my over flow jug like no other.

It will boil if you have an improper mixture in there. a 50/50 mix of antifreeze and distilled water will boil at 232* with 12lbs of pressure. You have cooling issues, somewhere. Maybe a clogged radiator?
