Default MAF & Throttle body

I want to get a little more performance out of my 93 5.0, i recently got a complete custom exhaust from head to toe, headers, x pipe, catback and flowmasters. Since i got the output i want some more input, i got a bbk CAI under the hood but was thinkin of a new MAF, throttle body and EGR.

Under the hood its pretty stock, mods are in my sig, i was wondering on what you guys think?

75 mml maf? any suggestions on a throttle body?

Like i said not running anything major, pretty stock engine, but lookin for some more perfomance.

you wont really benefit from the a larger throttle body and MAF unless you do the heads and intake and a cam, these really wake up a stock 5.0

I disagree. My car run's better then most and i still have stock heads.

Here's my set up so it can help you out a bit.

The MAF is a 1993 Cobra 70mm MAF, you can get them off eBay for $60 and they plug right up with no problems with STOCK 19lb injectors. I have a BBK cold air intake, nothing fancy with that. BBK 70mm throttle body and EGR, and a typhoon intake manifold that you can pick up pretty cheap. Mine was $300 brand new in the box i got from a guy off craigslist.

My car pulls hard as hell, and is fun to drive. But its obvious that the head's will hold you back.

It all depend's on your goal's and budget. I went with bolt on's and nitrous because i couldn't afford good head's. I got lucky and found my trickflow head's for $800 recently that will be on the car this winter..

good luck.

the maf to the throttle body is supposd to be a funnel effect. big to smaller...thats the general idea.people make mistakes getn everyting to big thinkn that bigger is better. (it usualy is, but not in every setup)watever yur maf is, step it down 5mm ie...75mm maf to a 70 tb
