Default Motor Mount Problems

So I just picked up a '93 5.0 LX with 150k miles and I'm starting to work on her so the first things to be replaced are motor and transmission mounts. Working with my Toyota mechanic neighbor, we replaced the tranny mount without a problem but can't seem to get the motor mounts freed.

We remove the nut from the bolt going through the K-Member without a problem but when we attempt to raise the engine by jacking at the oil pan, the whole car comes up. So we tried removing the other side's K-Member nut and same thing happens. The funniest thing is that when we use a crowbar on either side, we can lift the engine off the K-Member without a problem. It almost seems like there is a 3rd mount holding the engine to the frame somewhere else.

Any suggestions before I give up and take her to my mechanic?

Forgot to say, we did that too and it didn't help.

jack the motor as high as you can, place the jack and block of wood on the bottom of the flat portion of the bellhousing, with the 2 bolts out and nut off they will come out, I have never had an issue, it'll be tight but it can be done

The motor doesn't jack up. It just lifts the whole car.

loosen header flanges up and see if that is causing the bind, make sure that the bellhousing is not bound already against the firewall
