Default short blocks and firing order

looking at building a new 302 and found a short block that is 86-95 for the hydraulic roller ,
i presume the firing order is the 13726548 ?
i want the old firing order 15426378 .
can i just change the cam for the old firing order ? is the bottom end the same on all years ?

thanks

Dave

What is your reasoning for wanting to run the old firing order?

running the edelbrock pro-flow setup and the harness they have for it is for the old firing order .
maybe i should just order the one for the windsor i think it has the new firing order ?

will all things being the same.. the 13726548 firing order makes more power than the 15426378 firing order..

and the old firing order makes your car sound like a chevy truck..

ok then i guess it comes down to ordering the pro-flo for the windsor and the 86-95 short block for the roller cam ?

does that make seance ?

thanks for your help guys
