I want to know what is involved in doing this . Im looking to get the reverse glow from UPR.

pretty simple once you get the cluster out. thats the hardest part. the speedo cable has about an inch of extra length to it, so i hope you got skinny hands to cram back there and unhook it.
aside from that, once its opened up, find a way to mark exactly where the needles are pointing, and remove them using a small kitchen fork. yes, a kitchen fork. slide the fork under the needle and pull STRAIGHT UP. if you bend the tiny shaft that controls the needle, you're fubar. lay on the new gauge faces and reinstall needles, carefully and without turning them during reinstall.
