Default Coolant loss need help

I've been losing coolant in my 89 5.0 so i thought i had a bad head gasket the only problem is that the motor shows no signs of it. The oil is clean, no smoke from exhaust and it doesn't smell sweet, all plugs look pretty clean and it hasn't overheated even when rock crawling (its in my jeep). Is their anything else i should look for or could the coolant be evaporating? (i have a 20 oz mountain dew bottle for an overflow)

Have you pressure tested the system? That would be a place to start.

Check the carpet, make sure the heater core isn't leaking.

Is it possible that coolant is getting pushed out of the overflow bottle? I know hat my 4.0s dont push out a ton of coolant when running but I'm not sure about this motor with a stock wrangler radiator.

Its possile but that would be a sign of a bad radiator cap. If the system cant hold pressure it goes into the overflow and once it fills up it spews it. Once the system cools it sucks it back down and you have to keep adding coolant. Pressure test the cap and system.
