Hello,
I am putting a new cam and lifters in my 85 mustang which is a carburated roller motor. I want the most agressive cam possible without changing C.R. I have a 5 spd with 3.73 gears. I am looking for better E.T.'s, not worried about gas milage. If you can give me some cams with their respective numbers, brands, or model it would be great.

Im not sure but does your 85 have valve releifs in the pistions?And a cam isn't really going to help you as much as you think,unless you have intake,exhaust,heads,etc.

yep without the supporting add ons. it wont really do squat for you just help the sound some. youll be liek some ppl and not know anything liek they did back in the day. i want the baddest cam but why does my car run slower even tho i think its stronger

OK, well i was asking for cam shaft recommendations, whether you think that is where i should go or not i would appreciate hearing what people have used and are pleased with in the 85 carb roller 302.

your best bet is custom cam. without the rest of the mods a cam isnt going ot really do squat for performance
