Problem with keeping battery charged.
I have a 1994 Mustang, and for some reason seems the battery looses it's charge, I have a new battery, great condition alternator, new battery terminals, and the wires are all tight. So why would I be lossing my power charge, when I drive it on freeway it does fine, but when I go to start in morning it's dead. I don't turn on my factory alarm.

Hi,
Theres a few threads around here regarding battery drains. It sounds like a short, thus why your battery is becoming drained. I would conduct a parasitic load test and go from there. (Google it if your not sure how to do that test. Its very easy )
Hope this helps.

ya pick up a test light for like 5 bucks at harbor frright or pep boys and look up on google how to test for a drain. i started with my fuses and pulled them one by one until the light went out and then i at least knew which circuit the short was on. then i just worked back from there! turned out to be the cig lighter. good luck (o and make sure you have a good initial charge in the battery when tsting for shorts)
