does anyone know where i can get a used 302 block for cheap i want to do a build up so i can get rid of my 86 302 with the nasty speed density and flat top pistons any input would be greatly apppreciated

If you just want a run of the mill 302 block I've got one that's complete from oil pan to the carb, I know that it runs and it supposively had a rebuild last year. It's got an edlebrock rpm intake and an edlebrock carb (650 cfm i think). Lemme know if you're interested.

why dont u just rebuild the one u have with new pistons and swap it to mass air?

idk i want to be able to drive my car up to the day i put the new one in it is my daily driver so that is why i don't just take out my engine...any more suggestions???

have looked for a local junkyard for a block that would be your best bet for one

I see plenty of cars,trucks, and couple wagons at the junk yard with 5.0 fuel injected and all complete engines there go for $150.
