why would you put allen keys on ur intake?

Is this a 5.0 truck engine? Reach under the intake put socket on then put extension onto socket. Tried 1/4 inch drive?

My bad, thought all of the intakes were like this, yes it's a truck engine. Didn't have a set of 1/4" drive to set but will get those and try them then. thanks
