i would be much less of a headache to run a procharger/vortec/powerdyne etc then a turbo right? simply because its bascially a bolt on? as with a turbo youd have to run intercooler piping right? If your running 10psi on a vortec can you get impressive gains similar to a turbo?

indeed it is, i think the only option i would have is one of the cheaper turbo kits i could find. i know the ebay ones are in my ballpark, but ive heard okay and bad things about them on here...whats bad about them? the turbos are junk?

my neighbor did a DIY turbo on 11 psi on 155,000 mile motor iirc and layed close to 400 to the wheels. i think the tuner said he could have taken it to 16psi but my neighbor was building the car to sell it and make profit. turbo is way kooler IMO

i wouldnt want twins...just a single. This is very tempting. Can anyone touch base with pros and cons of a centrifugal supercharger over a single turbo. I know with the supercharger its instant power because you dont have to wait for spooling, although with a small turbo itll spool pretty quick. How hard is it to run intercooler piping for a turbo or supercharger? and im really not looking to make over 400 hp. i wouldnt want to test pushing the limit of the stock block, theyre only good to 450 correct? and the 351 is more like 600?
