Default SN95-Fox struts

i remember hearing somewhere that if you're running a lowered car you might be able to run fox struts on an SN95. i cant imagine running a 2" drop can be very good for the strut as it never really gets to return to its "real" idle position and fox struts are like an inch or so shorter.

feel free to correct me if im wrong. theres not really any price difference, its just i dont want to unnecessarily beat up parts like this if need be. the engine and driveline will take it like champs though lol.

I do believe that is right. Its one way or the other. Go to the part store and have been bring both off the shelf and see which is shorter.

well i know for a fact that the fox struts are shorter, i just dont know exactly how much. but i think they should be able to bolt right up. like i said, the car is just going to be a street car, that will see a decent amount of racing either on text/tune night at the 1/4 mile, or open track days at NIR, VIR, Limerock, Watkins Glenn, etc. but primarily i want to drive it around/to work on nice days, be able to put the hammer and scoot (VERY quickly btw), and do a little street or legit racing between friends or brand Xers.

i just dont want to get way too involved in the chassis of the car, i know ill be giving up some in terms of outright performance for either the strip or track, but i dont want to take out another mortgage to build the car. i just want to build it and kind of forget about it until they absolutely need to be replaced.

The part on the strut that you bolt to the spindle(you run two bolts through it) is wider on the fox strut than it is on the sn95 strut so you will have a gap to fill. I went on ahead and put sn95 struts on when I did my 5 lug.
