what people are trying to tell you is what calculates load in a SD car vs MAF CAR is different one key input in a maf car is the MAF and SD it's the MAP the ecm uses transfer/schaler TABLES to calculate Fuel trim based on input values from those sensors, and the maf transfer table is configured in terms of a graph of various voltage representaions as well is the MAP in a SD car however, it depends on what software is on that chip but I can gaurantee the two don't correlate with one another, where you may think you are running better....can you be so sure throughout the entire rpm range you are not lean/rich at some point???? also WITHOUT KNOWIng what changes were made on the chip, it's hard to speculate, I had a chip in my 89 and removed it when I made some changes and have yet to reinstall it because I have a feeling it was tuned for a s/c in the past......so I won't reinstall it for obvious reasons, and not even to test.

It is now reconfiguring the BAP sensor instead of the map
