Default Help on rear disc conversion and gearing question

I currently already have the 5 lug coversion. Thing is my rear is drums and I want to go to disc. I just recently was told I can just take drums off and put disc on. Thing is I am a little weary on buying used parts. I was wondering if I went to a parts store what year rear rotors and calipers would I ask for? Also what about brake lines? Do I have to ungrade my brake system, and if so how?

As far as gearing goes. I figured since I am going to have to pull the axles I might as well change the gears. I was wondering how I can go about making the rearend stronger. I want to run 4.11's. My plan down the road is to run either boosted 302/306 with over 420 rwhp. Now this is way down the road. Right now I am building up the suspension and what not to prepare for the build.
