Engine misses while idling and through driving range
Hope some one can help! I have a '93 convertible 5.0. The car only has 46,000. Recently the car started missing while idling and most noticable between 1500 and 2500 rpm. When the engine is cold runs great. But when up to normal temp engine misses. I cleaned MAF sensor and IAC Valve. One mechanic told me it was the copmuter under the dash? Anther mechanic told me it was the ground wire running to the computer under the dash? Possibly something else? I live in St Thomas, Virigin Islands and a good mechanic is hard to find and trust. Please help?

RE: Engine misses while idling and through driving range
i had a miss when i first got my car. it turned out to be 2 cracked spark plugs. this may not be your problem but why not check them first.

When a car is cold, it ignores all inputs from sensors and smog related stuff. After it warms up, the computer reads the sensors to make adjustments from timing to A/F.
