Question paint, engine bay

, i have a fine rhino lining, spray in kit, to put in the engine bay. Any one think that would be a good idea, the rest of the car, is going to be midnight black.

I do not think it's wise. Aside from a terrible, sand paper like finish, it will insulate the engine bay. The engine should be as cold as you can get it. Rhino lining will trap heat in the engine bay. Heat/friction are the #2 killers of cars. #1 being stupid drivers.

That can still fall under the #1 category.

I don't think it's a very good idea. It probably wouldn't look very good either.

Trust me I have seen it and worked on vehicles that had it done and it was a pain in the ***. Don't do it. If you want a rust protector use something else.

i would use a good automotive paint. it looks awesome when you take time to clean up under the hood. it takes work, but its worth it.
