Default efi to carb ?

i already have a efi fox so dont ask me why iam carbing my 5.0
My question can i temporarily use the stock pump (efi ) with a inline regualtor (set 7.5 -8 ) to start and tune my car ( budget is not aloowing for complete fuel system rihgt this second but itching to see what she runs like ) and if so do i just splice in to the relay under the seat ??

what do you have that makes it need more fuel than the stock pump can provide?

want im puttig together wont need anywhere near 44psi more concerned that pum will burn out from beong regulated down so much
but i guess we'll find out ./...
my ohter ? is what would be done with the return line

The return line hooks up to the regulator


it should be fine, i have seen a few cars run this with no problems

There is one guy one here that ran one without a return. His only saw 9 pounds.
