Default sub- frame connectors

i am putting in sub frame connectors tomorrow and i was going to do it on a lift (not a drive on one) were should i raise the car to do this... they are weld in ones. or should i do it on the ground

up in the air. you should be able to see where you need to put the lift. obviously it cant be in the way of your work .

im reading two different stories that the car has to have the suspension under full load, when puting them in so i guess im going to do it on the ground with jackstands under the rear end and a-arms

That's correct the suspension has to be loaded.

I jacked my car up, lowered the wheels on cinder blocks in all 4 corners... put the jack on a cinder block, and jacked it a bit more(too much and the jack will roll of the cinder block). In the end my car was sitting on a cinder block and 2 inch thick pieces of wood.

The fun part is grinding paint/dirt/rust off of the bottom of the car and then tacking the subs in the proper place. After that the rest of the welding is cake... make sure you watch the fuel lines on the passenger's side frame rail.

Whatever method you choose, be safe. When you have the wheels on blocks you have the added benefit of using the parking brake. Use wheel chalks also, though.
