Default Intake Decision!

I have decided between to intakes for my stang. Before you give me an opinion on which, I will give my setup. B-303 Cam, Stock Heads, 1.7 R's, 24 Pound Injectors, BBK Shorty Headers, Mac Catback Exhaust with Offroad H-Pipe and 8.73 Gears. Now I must choose between two intakes. EdelBrock Performer kit or a Trick Flow R-series kit. They are both the same price, about five hundred dollars (Anyone know where I can get them cheaper?).

So help me decide which intake to purchase.

I think they are all good intakes. Typically the Edelbrock will be the smoothest at low RPM, and IMO the most mild too. (Not really a bad thing, it all depends on what you want).

As for your current set-up.... I would spend a few extra bucks for something more aggressive. I like the BBK. Just my opinion.

8:73 gears (diff.)? is that right? on a street car? WOW

Well thanks for all the information. Haha, sorry I meant 3.73. I was thinoing about the stock 8.8 ration and got them crossed. So I guess i'll go with this setup on a 94-95 GT 5-speed.

EdelBrock Performer Upper and Lower
BBK Shorty Headers
Stock Heads-1.7 r's.
B303 Cam
24# Injectors
Mac Catabck Exhast Offroad H-Pipe

I was thinking the B303 Cam or The Z303 (Manual Reccomended), which is Fords most aggressive Cam. Does anyone know the best place to purchase all this over the internet?

If I decide to Get heads in the future, which would be best for my Setup without dropping a grand on them.

Oh, and if I put the 1.7 R's in and use the stock Valve Covers, will I have to grind the top of them for clearence?
