hey everybody im new to the forums but look at them all the time. i have a 95 gt 5.0 and she has been missing in idle also pinging during accle. the check engine does not come on. i have changed cap rotor, plugs, wires, ICM, And computer, also set the timing to 9* but no change. also my car has no mods yet.

sorry also my distribitor has been squeaking u grab the cap and put pressure on it it goes away but could that be causing the problem

i bet your EGR is messed up

and changing the computer. REALLY dumb move

pull the valve off and make sure the pintle is not being partially held open by carbon build up and or stuck partially open

ok just got off work going to check the egr now let u know how it goes and sorry about all those other threads didnt really know what i was doing

so i checked the egr valve and it had a little bit of carbon bulid up on it i cleaned it up and put back together and cranked it up and took it for a ride still the same thing. do u think that it would be bad still.
