95 cutting off

Question 95 cutting off

I just bought a 95 gt and when i drive sometimes not always it just cuts off like turning the key off but after 2 to 6 seconds it starts going again like nothing happen ..This happens when im driving andd i just wait and coast and it comes back on...Can someone help me PLEASE!!!!!

if it's ignition related = common prob stator in the dizzy......I'd lean more towards that then a tfi module as on sn-95's the tfi was moved to the fender and less heat soak occurs there...also pop the cap on the distributor and make sure the shaft the rotor sits on does not wiggle side to side, if so = distributor bushing shot = new dizzy needed

Thanks mjr46 I will check the dizzy tomorrow after work. I had a 94 and it would cut off and not start for 20 mins and then just stoped starting back up so I replaced the dizzy and all was well ,so I was thinking this might be the start of the same problem with this car.
