Default Clutch Cable

I am trying to re-install my t-5 and clutch. I have done this before years ago and for the life of me i don't remember how to hook up the clutch cable to the fork because obviously it is too short to go through. I am using the same centerforce clutch setup as before so no change there. I don't won't to pry on it because im not sure if that needs to be done. It's just a stock cable and quadrant and im stuck any and all help will be appreciated.

You have to release the ratchet adjusting mechanism under the dash. That will allow you enough slack in the cable to hook it on the fork then just use the self adjuster to get the slack back out.

Release the ratchet by pulling the pedal up and put something under it to keep it propped up. Connect the cable on the quadrant side first then connect the fork.
