Default msd 6 al install question

I have a 90 gt and a stock ignition system currently. I just got a mallory camp 9000 distributor and a msd 6al ignition box. Also have a mallory coil. I have no idea how to wire this up. I am looking through the instructions for wiring the system up with the ford tfi system but how would an aftermarket dizzy work with tfi i have now. Anything would be good help at this point i am sure someone else has done this before as well
Thanks

just to make sure im looking at the right thing...... this is what you got http://www.jegs.com/p/Mallory/Mallor...57745/10002/-1 right? thats for a chevy, and it bolts to the front of the motor and is spun by a belt. anything is possible but i dont see how this is going to work. our cars need the tfi modual on the dizzy or you get no spark....thats how the computer controls timing

the stock dizzy works just as good as any aftermarket one....hence the reason i still have the stock dizzy on my car.....think pro does too.

Like is said this is the dizzy i have and it sure as heck isnt vac advance. It has a power, signal, and a ground wire and that it. It is clearly not a vac advance dizzy.

you dont understand, what adder said is since its not vac advance, its not a comp 9000. look at it, there are 2 wires coming out of it, mustangs have a bunch. the 6al has nothing to do with the dizzy, it hooks to the ignition coil an gives a stronger spark. the factory dizzy has all those wires running to it because the tfi module mounts to it and controls timing advance. save yourself time and head aches and admit you got screwed. sell the dizzy you have and buy the right one.

look at your other thread, you stripped out your o2 bung so you took out the o2, plugged the hole and cant figure out why it runs bad. after just these two threads its obvious you have no idea what your doing. you need to find some one who can help you buy/install parts till you get the hang of things
