Question Car Starting Problem

I have a 1990 Mustang 302 with a vortech supercharger putting out about 10-12psi. I went to track this past weekend and I made 3 runs and decided to let the motor cool. After few minutes the car wouldnt start,it was sounding like it wanted to turn over but wouldnt so I waited another few minutes and all of sudden it fired right up. Any ideas on why it wouldn't start after couple runs down the track?(Think I stronger amp alternator, battery, maybe or etc..) Thanks

Amp draw meter will answer the question. Should the starter pass that test a dvom will finish other questions. Bubba

Be a little more specific. Cranked fine but wouldn't fire or it was slow cranking. That will make a difference in the diagnosis.

It was like you can hear the motor trying to turn over but nothing as if the battery was going out but after few minutes the car fired right up.

OK, could be a weak battery or heat soak starter as already posted. Is this a new problem. Where is your timing set at?
