If he's just using straight aluminum they will be weaker than stock, even with a heat treating.

stock pistons are aluminum. some forged, some hypereutectic.
Yup.......but what I am saying is he probably can go about making them....but if he is just going to cnc them out of a block or do whatever he is doing, they might not be as strong as stock....there are other fabrication processes that create the strength needed for an engine.
