BAD PRANK NO START..HELP!!!
Had this on a couple forumns. Noone can seem to help. Please offer any advice....
im in need of a genious!!!! anything from anybody. just got word my coworkers pulled a prank. reason my car wouldnt start the other day is because they unpluged two of my injectors and switched wires on my cap. and loosened my intake. i figured it was messed with at first but was unsure and just thought something wierd happened. good compression and fuel pressure and great spark. but no start!!!! could something of happened as a result of them screwin with it???? remember timing is dead on and fuel, spark and compression are exact. HELP PLEASE???
my 91 coupe original 5.0 car. motor is new. it ran for two days then went to fire on third day and now will crank and crank but wont fire. got 42psi on fuel pressure 148psi compression on all 8 cylinders and timing is dead nuts. spark is great but the car just wont fire. ive tried new tfi modules, new distributors, new computers, new ignition coil. i even pulled the computer harness out to check for any bad wires and they all look good. it seems all 8 injectors are firing at the same time when cranking possibly flooding the car immediately. what is going on. can anyone help.
other notes: when i bought the car the fuel pump was on a switch. it still is currently. i can hear the pump coming on and i have 42 psi on my fuel pressure tester so i know i got fuel and i know i have good spark and compression. i did a 5 speed swap on the car, but remember it was running for about a week but now nothing.

find whoever was messing with it and have them show you what they did.... or get the firing order and double check firing order then look at another 5.0 and try to draw a map of the injector wires..... and recreate on yours

+1, then when its running again, beat the sh*t out of them for touching your car.

will try the injector map in the morning. great idea and thank you. theyve already fessed up to the stuff done and its all been corrected. cant beat the *** of coworkers although id love to. they are helpin though and footin the bill on all parts

thanks for all the advice. have tried new plugs and the firing order is etched in my head and i know thats right. its been at another shop for two weeks now and i got word today that it fired but died instantly, which has me thinking bad vacumn leak. ill update as soon as i get word. still looking for clues though, thanks for the input. i have tried going wot with new plugs....but nothing fml
