I was wondering if ne one could help me irecently bought an 1989 5.0 conv. and it was for some reason swapped from 5 spd to an AOD what i need to know is which trans should be in my car? as per 5 spd designation </P>

well if its switched to aod then you need an aod transmission and if you need one i know a guy that has a brand new stock aod trans for sale... do you need?

don't bother with an 89 T5 put in a 90-93 (Higher torque rating 310ft/lbs) or a Z-Spec 2.95. Go to FordMuscles.com and under their tech articles is a listing of all T5's built forFord's.</P>
