This is for AOD tranny:
I wanted to know for stock gears what is your RPM's at in OD when going 65mph?
With stock gears what is your MPH when going redline in 3rd gear?
My speedometer is off and im trying to figure out if I have stock gears in my rear end.

you either got 327 or 273. your car will either shift out of first like 60 or sooner. if sooner you dont got 273s

i know when i had 327s i topped out around 130mph or so. the motor just didnt have it in it to pull any harder

Well.I went next to brand new rio we rented and when rio was going 65mph my speedometer said 76-80mph.
Well.when I punch it in 3rd my car reaches redline and Im going about 110-115 on my speedometer.so I dont
know if it's still off at those speeds or what.
Another thing is if I have it in OD and and take off on highway it wants to go past redline in 3rd gear and not
shift.
Car does have a superchips module I found out but I dont think thats the cause.

108 was my old max wtih 26tall tires and the stock tach with my 410s. thats with the correct speedo gear, you could possibly have 373

do this to solve your problem. get a paint marker. mark the pinion and mark the tire. now spin the tire one full time and could how many times the pinion spins.

if it spins a hair under 3 times. its 273s, if it spins a hair over 3 its 308s, if it spins 3 1/4 you got 327, if it spins 3 1/2 its 355s, if it spins 3 3/4 you got 373, if it spins hair under 4 you got 390s, if it spins a hair over 4 you got 410s.

right around 1500 with the 2.73s 80 is just under 2000
