Alright i have a 1988 ford mustang LX that was originally a 4-banger that i converted to a 331 stroker. now i want to swap my rear end because obviously it can not hold up to that kind of power, correct me if im wrong but the 4 bang LX models originally had the 7.5 in rear differential and the 28 spline axles. I want to swap the Rear end to a 8.8 in differential and put 31 spline axles in it, now my question is what else would i need for the swap besides the new 8.8 in differential and new 31 spline axle, and would i need a 8.8 in differential cover?
