if the body is in good condition and the price is right, buy it. MAF conversion isn't difficult. contrary to what all these people will tell you, keep the B303 for now. it isn't a bad cam....my old GT ran mid-7s in the 1/8th with a B cam, headers and a shot of gas. save money for now and get some aluminum heads....ported and polished E7s are still E7s with tiny valves.

hell, buy it just because it's a notch.....they're getting hard to find.

copy + paste...

mass air is probably the most OVERRATED topics i can think of regarding the 5.0

if it runs fine... it's fine. SD cars are faster anyways. the b cam is not a bad cam at all, but the stocker will carry you a long ways, especially with e7 heads. what is he claiming for HP ? anything over 250 is BS imo.

look for previous body repairs #1 fo sho, typical rust areas are under the hatch/trunk in the seam, behind the rear tires, look for sheet metal damage under the seat mounts.

other than that look for simple stuff that will nickle and dime you, broken heater *****, broken latches, bad window switches (if the locks or windows go slower than they should... bet they are almost history)

mods are a funny thing, done right and it's a bonus for you, done by some schmuck, and u mihgt have been better if it was all stock.

with that being sed... jump on it if your gut tells you to. if your sketchy.. keep looking

i'm on my 3rd notch and i love them, only other cars im interested in are the 4 limited ed. verts as far as buying more stangs

the car is so clean. only things ive noticed that it needs are...e brake cables, wiper motor..but im only gunna drive it on nice days anyway, bulb for one of my reverse lights, horn doesnt work?, and the electric door locks. everything else works amazing. the interior looks like its off the showroom floor.

and as far as the mods go, im pretty sure theres no b cam. sounds like a pretty stock idle, and the port work i dont know because the motors def been out before, its painted red but its got a ford hd T5, hurst short throw, h pipe, flowmasters, 5 lug conversion, all wheel disks, 373's im pretty sure, aluminum driveshaft, MSD cap and rotor, and some ford racing wires, full KYB suspension and sway bars and subframe connectors. pretty much just gunna tackle the motor bit by bit.

ill post pics in an hour or so
