if u have a torch u can burn the rubber and they fall rightout

 

I used a 5/16" drill bit and tried to drill through the bushing, but the drill ended up walking completely around it, so I just kept going, and the drill actually pulled the bushing out... then I just had to fight with the metal piece...

 

the torch method still took a while when i did it a while back but it works
