BBK headers question

Default BBK headers question

I installed my x pipe today and don't know what is supposed to hook up to the small pipe sticking off the passenger side pipe in the pic below.

That is an air breather tube. It is supposed to be for your cats, but since you aren't going to run them, it isnt really needed. When i did mine(I didn't have a wielder) I just clamped it closed on the pipes and left it chilling there. I didn't have any exhaust leaks. If i would of had a wielder I would of connected.

you will have a large exhaust leak.

You can use a piece of rubber hose on the end of it, with a large bolt inserted in, then clamp it all together.

of course it will sound like that,, it's an exhaust leak..

This is a simple fix..you have a couple choices

1. 2 clamps,rubber hose and bolt

2. JB Weld the hole

3. put it over a hard surface and hammer it shut

4. weld it shut

5. install air pump on engine and connect it how it is from factory.

I personally hammered it shut.
