i have a 95 5.0 mustang gt the work that i have done is: shift kit, cold air intake, 410 gears, exhaust, under pulleys. ok now heres my problem, i just got my transmission rebuilt with high performance parts why would my car over rev and how do i make it stop?

how do you mean over-rev. you mean it doesnt shift at the correct shift point?? if thats what you mean then the TV cable/detent cable probably needs adjusted. other than that, let QUIK get to you, hes pretty good with autos.

where is the tv cabl at and ya it dose not shift right at 5000 rpm it over revs and dam near sends me in to the winsheld some one told me to get a msd coil but that did not help i took my chip out that did not help im stuck any ansers will help thanks

well that would be with the shift kit you added. my car shifted around 6k. its fine unless your hitting the fuel cut off

ok how do i add more fule after 5000 rpm for my car dont shut off im not even hiting red line it driveing me crazzy i need to fix it please help me lol
